Sallie Pearl Fail Dixon Davis, age 95, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She was born in Johnston County on July 7, 1928, to the late Cleveland Curtis and Mallie Jane Toler Fail. In addition to her father and mother, she is also predeceased by her husbands, Leon Jackson Dixon and Samuel Maxwell Davis; six sisters and one brother. Sallie was a member of the Eastern Star in Moyock, North Carolina. She was loved by family and friends and will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Selma Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 to 1:45 at Parrish Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Dixon Warren and husband Samuel of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters, Patricia "Pat" Fail Atkins of Four Oaks and Elizabeth "Libba" Fail Sellers of Havelock; granddaughter, Angela Salaiz (Perry) of Virginia Beach, great-grandsons Perry Salaiz and Zakary Salaiz, and great-great-granddaughter, Perry Loraine Salaiz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
