Sadie Jones, 93, of Pine Level passed away July 10, 2026. Born in Johnston County on October 6, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Willam Robert and Sallie Johnson Phillips. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh G. Jones, son, Tony P. Jones, sisters Shelby Phillips and Esther Mae Kennedy, step mother, Frances Phillips and step-brother, Ray Barbour.

Sadie, with her late husband Hugh and late son Tony, owned and operated Jones Tire Service for over 35 years. She was a charter member of West Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in West Smithfield.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at West Calvary FWB Church with the Reverend Ricky Ham and Reverend Jason Hurt officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Hills of Neuse Memory Gardens.

Surviving are children Randy Jones (Ruthie) of Columbia, S.C., Debbie J. Dorman (Warren) of Selma and Jennifer J. Brown (John) of Raleigh, step-sister Kaye Heroux (George) of Leland, brother in law Mac Jones of Smithfield. Grandchildren Stephen Jones, Allison J. Maxham (Jeff), Shane Dorman (Lisa), Jeremy Dorman (Casey), Hannah Brown, Gracen Brown, Kathy D. Crank (Steve), Chris Long (Donna), Matthew Jones (Ashley), 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
