Pine Level - Ruby Parrish Brady, age 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening. Born October 22, 1922 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Thomas Hubert and Gladys Lane Parrish. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, James "Lester" Brady; brothers, Barney Person Parrish, and Vernon Parrish; sister, Bulah P. Eason; daughter-in-law, Maxine Wood Brady; grandchildren, Rhonda Peedin, Brannon Brady and fianc?e Crystal Higgins; and great grandson, Skylar Brady. Ruby was a faithful member of Holt's Pond Church of God of Prophecy in Princeton Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Earp officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. just prior to the service. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Selma Memorial Gardens. Surviving are her sons, James Hubert Brady of Clayton, Ricky Worth Parrish Brady and wife Brenda Stewart Brady, and Franky Hue Brady and wife Diane Stump Brady all of Pine Level; daughter, Genesis Juvonne Brady Peedin and husband James Ronald Peedin of Pine Level; brother, Daniel Leon Parrish; sister, Shelva P.
