Roy (Bud) Thomas Earp, formerly of Kenly, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Barbour Court Nursing Home in Smithfield. Mr. Earp was born in Wilson County on November 22, 1944 to LeRoy and Atheline Bass Earp. He spent his life in Kenly until his health started failing a few years ago. Roy served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in South Korea in 1969.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda Byrd of Albertson. Surviving siblings are Peggy Parrish of Selma, Lena Parrish of Princeton, Joyce Medlin of Selma, Betty Simmons (Dan) of Smithfield, Jerry Earp (Roz) of Elyria, Ohio, Donald Earp (Vonda) of Princeton, and Larry Earp (Fran) of Smithfield. A graveside service is planned for Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 2:00P.M. at Selma Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are made by Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
