Smithfield – Rosa Lee Beasley, age 81, passed away Thursday November 19, 2020 at her home in Smithfield. She was born in Johnston County on November 24, 1938 to the late Joseph L. Dupree and Audrey Dean Dupree. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a brother, Jodie N. Dupree. A private graveside service will be held on Monday November 23, 2020 in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield. Mrs. Beasley is survived by husband of 64 years, Graylon Everett Beasley of Smithfield; son, Danny Beasley of Four Oaks; daughter, Kimberly Langdon of Four Oaks; sisters, Myrtle Jones, Florence Hockaday, and Dorothy Dupree; grandchildren, Paul Langdon, Matthew Beasley, Morgan Boswell, and Meghan Beasley; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beasley was a member at Hopewell Free Will Baptist Church in Four Oaks. She enjoyed reading and fishing in her spare time.
