Princeton – Ronnie Kelly Pittman, age 79, passed away August 3, 2024, at UNC Health Wayne. He was born on November 10, 1944, in Wilson County to the late Luther and Viola Pittman. Ronnie was an avid fox hunter. He worked for Jerry Williams Lumber Yard for over 20 years. Ronnie enjoyed riding horses and was an Elvis fanatic.

Services will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Princeton Cemetery.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sarah Talton Pittman of Princeton; son, David Hines of Princeton; daughter, Sandra Newell (Bryan) of Goldsboro; granddaughters, Jessica Strickland (Ivey) of Goldsboro and Jaclyn Crawford (Jason) of Princeton; great-grand-daughter, Adalynne Crawford; brother, L.A. Pittman (Evelyn) of Kenly; and many nieces and nephews.
