Ronnie Thomas Lee, affectionately known as “Tommy,” passed away peacefully at UNC Hospital (Chapel Hill) on September 10, 2026, at the age of 51. He was born on August 3, 1975, and was a lifelong resident of Selma, North Carolina.

Tommy dedicated more than 26 years of his life to working as a truck driver. Most recently, he was employed with CNM, where he proudly worked for 10 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment to providing for those around him.

One of Tommy’s greatest joys was fishing with his dad, Ronnie. Whenever he had the opportunity, he loved spending time outdoors and sharing those fishing trips with his father. Those moments created memories that will be cherished by his family.

Tommy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie and Dorothy Holloman; his paternal grandparents, Delma and Lillia Lee; his older sister, Rhonda Lee; and his uncle, Glenn Holloman.

Tommy is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Linda Lee; his sister, Sabrina Felizzi; brother-in-law, Mark Felizzi; his nieces, Katie Felizzi (Asantae Spikes) and Karsyn Felizzi; and his great-nephew, Kasaan Spikes.

Tommy and Sabrina shared a bond that was truly special—a love like no other. They always looked out for each other, no matter what. Tommy was always such a big talker, often acting like he was the boss, but Sabrina was never afraid to show him the truth and keep him in line. Their relationship was filled with love, laughter, honesty, and the kind of sibling bond that only they could understand. She will forever cherish the memories they shared and carry her brother’s memory in her heart.

He is also survived by his ex-wife, Jeanine Hawley, and his children, Lindsey, Savannah, and Summer Lee. Although life's circumstances brought distance between them, they remain a part of his story.

He is also survived by his closest friends, Jeff Johnson and TJ Heath. Jeff and TJ held a special place in Tommy’s life, sharing a friendship built through many years, experiences, laughter, and memories. Their friendship was an important part of his journey, and the memories they shared with Tommy will be treasured and remembered always.

Tommy will be remembered by his family and friends for his strong personality, his dedication to his work, his love of fishing, his big personality, and the many memories he created throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
