Fremont – Ronnie Durwood Langston Sr., passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. He was born in Johnston County on February 24, 1949 to the late Lester Langston and Nellie Johnson Langston. He is also preceded in death by step mother, Joyce Langston.

The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Saturday February 12, 2022 from 7 PM to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Sunday February 13, 2022 at 2 PM. Burial will follow the service on Sunday in Princeton Cemetery.

He is survived by wife, Susan Gardner Langston of the home; son, Ron Langston Jr., of Smithfield; stepson, Bryan Rodgers of Durham; brothers, Guy Langston and wife Diane of Princeton, Ken Langston and wife Sherri of Princeton, Kirk Langston and wife Linda of Goldsboro; sisters, Becky Weaver and husband Ray of Kenly, Dale Holloman and husband Bruce of Roxboro, Dee Langston of Princeton;

Mr. Langston was a member at St. Mary's FWB Church in Lucama and enjoyed spending time with his family, his two cats, Sunshine and Sweet Pea. He also enjoyed drag racing and watching Nascar.
