Roger Dale Brock, Jr., age 43, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born in Durham County on March 30, 1982, he was the beloved son of Sherrie Brock and the late Roger Dale Brock, Sr.

Roger had a lifelong passion for music and was an accomplished trumpet player during his high school years, earning numerous awards for his talent. A devoted fan of jazz, he found great joy and comfort in music throughout his life.

He also had a love for cars and spent many meaningful hours working on them with his oldest son. Roger was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his family. Above all, his greatest joy in life was being a father to his three sons.

Roger is survived by his loving mother, Sherrie Brock; his sons, Andrew Brock (Madison), Caleb Brock, and Jensen Brock; his aunt, Melissa Murdock (Mark); and his uncles, Tony Nance (Lisa) and Billy Nance (Pauline).

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home.

Roger will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
