Robin Gene Castleberry, age 63, of Smithfield passed away on November 9, following a period of declining health.  Born in Johnston County on August 30, 1957, he was the son of the late Gene H. and Myrtle H. Castleberry.  Robin was a 1975 graduate of SSS High School and grew up attending First Christian Church in Smithfield with his family.

Surviving are his brother, Tony Castleberry and wife Kim of Smithfield; niece Kelly Castleberry and nephew Toby Castleberry.

Due the covid concerns, the family is having a private memorial service.
