Smithfield – Robert Lee Mooneyham, age 91, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born on August 25, 1929, he was a son of the late Edwin and Carrie Mooneyham. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Stephan Mooneyham. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church in Smithfield, the Lions Club as well as the American Legion.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow in Knollwood Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Mrs. Bobbie Mooneyham, son Lee Mooneyham (Carol) of Naugatuck, CT, step-son, Robert Killian, step-daughter, Glenda Dixon (Lee) of Morehead City, sister, Hilda Laughlin of Burlington, grandson, Ryan Mooneyham and great granddaughter, Alexia Mooneyham.
