Robert Melton "Robby" Lawhon, Jr., age 60, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at his home. Born June 30, 1961 in Wayne County he was a son of Helen Rose Lawhon of Smithfield and to the late Robert Melton Lawhon, Sr. Robby was a member of Tee's Chapel FWB Church in Smithfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Tee's Chapel FWB Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Elizabeth Medlin Lawhon; daughter, Lauren Lawhon; son, Ayden Lawhon, all of Smithfield; sister, Barbara Lewis and husband Dennis of Goldsboro; brother, Troy Lawhon and wife Shannon of Princeton; five nieces; two nephews; and one great niece.
