Willow Springs – Rita Ann DeMoulin Zieger, age 82, died Monday, July 8, 2019 in WakeMed of Raleigh, surrounded by her family.  Born June 15, 1937 in Winchendon, MA to Eve Burgess DeMoulin she was the widow of George Zieger, Jr., whom she was married to for 50 years.  She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Sean, Mandy and Brandy.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.  The family will receive friends for 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service and at other times at the daughter Dawn's home 510 S Second Street Smithfield 27577.

Surviving are five daughters, Madeline Hutton of Sanford, Ricky Ann Turner of Greensboro, Dawn Sewell and husband Jimmy of Smithfield, Georgia Preston and husband Russell of Angier and Tammy Honeycutt and husband Charlie of Clayton; brother, Richard DeMoulin and wife Jan of Coalport, PA; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
