Zebulon – Rebecca Mae Deans, age 69, passed away, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home. She was born, September 22, 1954 in Zebulon to the late George and Virginia Capps. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Capps. Rebecca enjoyed her flowers and watching various animals in her yard. She also loved many stray cats that would show up at work. Rebecca attended United Faith Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandma. She loved her husband and family and loved to cook for her entire family.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Branch Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. at Parrish Funeral Home.

Rebecca is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Deans of Zebulon; son, John B. Deans of Zebulon; granddaughter, Gracie Deans of Zebulon; brother, Donald Capps (Audrey) of Elm City; sister, Janice Allen of Petersburg, VA; many nieces and nephews.
