Phyllis Braswell Turnage, aged 78, of Selma, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024, at her daughter's home in Raleigh. Born on August 14, 1946, in Johnston County, she was the beloved daughter of the late David "Oscar" and Cindy Braswell.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 2pm, at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.

Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Shirley Williams and her husband, Marty; her brother, Denny Braswell of Princeton; and her niece, Lisa Thomas and her husband, Laverne, of Thomasville, NC.

Her family extends their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all who have shown kindness and compassion during this time.
