Selma – Phyllis Parrish Poole, age 77, passed away Wednesday September 4, 2024 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. She was born in Johnston County on September 5, 1947 to the late Wiley Clifton Parrish and Adele Price Parrish. In addition to her father and mother, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Poole; brothers, Charles Parish, Keith Parrish, and Donny Parrish; sisters, Janice Hall, Brenda Parrish Manning, and Kathleen Parrish.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Monday September 9, 2024 at 3:00 PM.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Anthony "Tony" Poole of Selma; sister, Betsy Daughty, and husband Tim of Nahunta.
