Peggy Sue Parrish, age 55, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, at her home in Selma. Born October 18, 1969, she was the daughter of the late James Bunn and Dorothy Garner Bunn. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Parrish.

Peggy was a devout Christian and a dedicated member of the Selma Church of Christ, where her faith and love for others were central to her life. She cherished her family deeply, always placing them at the heart of her world. Peggy was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support, whether in her role as a loving mother, grandmother, or friend. Her genuine care for others extended beyond her family, and she touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Peggy's selflessness and warm spirit will be forever remembered by those whose lives she made brighter.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Sara Miller of Elizabethtown; brother, Ricky Parrish of Crestwell; granddaughter, Kinsley Miller; Nieces, Jessica Godwin (Bryan) of Wilson; Charlotte Parrish of Columbia; and Ashley Parrish of Columbia; great-nieces and great-nephews, Galvin Godwin, Ansley Godwin, and Phoenix Bridgers; and special friends, Tammy Locklear, Nancy Woods, and Wanda Blackwell.

The family will hold a memorial service Friday, March 28, 2025, at 2:00pm at Parrish Funeral Home.
