Morehead City---Pauline Peterson, 70, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Pruitt Health in Carteret County. Born in Johnston County, NC on September 6, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Thurman C. and Margaret Jones Peterson. She is preceded in death by a sister, Laura Ferrell, brothers, Charles Clifton Peterson, Bobby Ray Peterson, Kenneth Ray Peterson and a nephew, David Wayne Peterson. She is survived by sisters, Margie Jones and husband Bobby of Morehead City, NC, Carolyn Frances Averette of Newport, NC; nieces, Donna Ann Ferrell, Becky Barnett and Crystal A. Guthrie and a nephew, Johnny Ray Peterson.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Oakland Heights Cemetery on North Street in Smithfield, NC.  Officiating will be Reverend Drew Guthrie.
