Raleigh---Patsy Eason Barefoot, 60, of Wake Forest Road, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at her home. Born on February 27, 1949 in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Alvester and Neppie Louis Eason. She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother who loved to paint, and was a member of Branch Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Jared Barefoot.Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2009 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with Pastor Gene Payne and Preacher Lenny Reagan officiating.Surviving are: sons, Jason Barefoot and his wife, April, of Pine Level, Jeff Barefoot and his wife Kristy, of Kenly; a brother, Grady Eason of West Virginia; sisters, Letha Parrish of Zebulon, Betty Hill of Clayton, Edith Lee of Clayton, Alma Gay Childers of Selma, and Teresa Shrum of Selma; three grandchildren, Erica Barefoot, Blane Barefoot, and Emma Barefoot; and former husband, Larry Barefoot.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 PM.Condolences can be made online at Parrishfh.com
