Patricia Allen Respess, age 81, passed away in her home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Born in Rocky Mount, NC, on July 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Patricia Respess. After high school, Patricia attended a secretarial program at Women's College (UNC-G). She then worked as a program specialist at NASA for 34 years. She lived in several different areas of Washington, D.C. Patricia retired to Nags Head and subsequently to Wilson's Mills. She was loved and will be missed by her family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Smithfield with the Rev. Kate Byrd officiating.

Patricia is survived by her cousins, Ross Jones, Morton Jones (Barbara), Susan Richardson (Bob); cousin and godchild, Charles Bedgood, III, Charles Bedgood IV, James Bedgood (Sophia), and Baker Bedgood Stallings (Robert).
