Selma- Patricia Ann Eatman Howell, age 78, passed away on July 12, 2025, at her home in Selma. Born, May 12, 1947, in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late David Eatman and Lola Caraway Eatman. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Freddie Gene Howell and daughter, Melodi Michael Thrift.

A devoted and loving mother, Patricia lived a life grounded in love, kindness, and quiet strength.  She found deep joy in life's simple pleasures; spending time with family, tending to her flowers, and watching the birds, squirrels, and beauty of nature around her. She will be remembered as the steady rock of her family.  While she kept her inner circle close, her compassion extended far beyond.  Through the years, countless others felt the warmth of her care, the depth of her kindness and the unwavering loyalty that defined her spirit.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

She is survived by her sons; C.G. Howell of Princeton and Raymond Howell of Raleigh, daughters; Edith Michael of Selma, Gina Michael of Mooresville, Patricia D Michael of Selma, sister, Bonnie Narron of Middlesex, grandchildren; Jimmy Worrells of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lars Thrift of Siler City, Erik Thrift of Goose Creek, Stephanie Dennis of Knightdale, Kat Lowery, Mooresville, Gabi Myers of Mooresville, Coleton Howell of Princeton, great-grandchildren; Cheyenne Boyd, Memphis Worrells and William Worrells.
