Clayton – Orlando Joe Daniels, age 74, of Clayton, passed away June 10, 2024, at Wake Med Raleigh. Born in Dillon, South Carolina on April 8, 1950, he was the son of the late Forrest and Marie Daniels.  He is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Joe Daniels and brother, James Richard Daniels.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah Daniels of Clayton; son, John Ellis Daniels (Brittney) of Smithfield; brothers Forrest Lefon Daniels, Jr. (Annie), Larry Daniels (Johnnie Belle), William "Bill" Daniels (Sandra); sister, Nancy Bradshaw; grandchildren, Jonathon Corbin, Kaden Alexander, Avery Elizabeth, and Maegan Hicks; great-grandchildren, Paige and Madison Hicks.
