Smithfield – Maxine P. Raynor, age 82, passed away June 6, 2020 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, after a period of declining health. She was born in Johnston County March 16, 1938 to the late Lewis and Ertie Parrish. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by brothers, Edward Parrish, Junior Parrish, Fred Parrish, Buddy Parrish, and Lennie Parrish; Sisters, Bert Webster, May Hall, Tinnie Peedin, Marie Stancil, Margret Parrish. A grave side service will take place in Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield 1 PM Tuesday June 9, 2020. Maxine was known for her quick wit, her kind and sweet spirit.
