Brogden - Mary Elizabeth Toler "Aunt Mary" Rose, age 99, died Friday evening in the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.  Born September 25, 1920 in Johnston County to the late Sidney E. and Rose Ingram Toler, she was the widow of Charles Gurney "Coon" Rose.  She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Faye Rose Casey; sons, Ronnie Rose and Sammy Rose; daughter-in-law, Linda Malpass Rose,  grandson, Scott Rose; brother, Charlie Toler and sisters, Gertrude Edwards, Myrtie Wadsworth, Maude Capps, Martha Worley and Lillie Holt.  Mary was a lifelong member of the Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

A, private graveside service will be conducted in the Overbee Family Cemetery near Brogden.

Surviving are her son, Randy Rose and wife Amy of Brogden; sister, Mittie Worley of Princeton; three granddaughters, two grandsons, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Tee's Free Will Baptist Church, 6439 Brogden Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577.
