Marvin Lee "Mark" Moye, age 73, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born April 1, 1949 in Johnston County, he was a son of the late Marvin and Margie Collier Moye. Mark worked for the Bank of Pine Level for many years and later with Natvar and Bayer Pharmaceuticals prior to his retirement. He was a member of both the VFW and the American Legion of Pine Level.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens with Rev. Gilbert Baker officiating.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Capps Moye; daughters, Elizabeth Moye "Beth" Crawford and husband James of Morehead City and Rhonda Moye Holland and husband Mark of Lucama; nephew, who was more like a son, James Henry Moye and wife Patti of Pine Level; brother, Berry Moye and wife Jean of Selma; sisters, Marilyn Moye of Smithfield, Monne Kincaid and husband John of Anaheim, CA and Gladys Lee of Kenly; grandchildren, Austin Holland, Van Crawford, Mia Crawford, Max Holland and Peyton Holland; and several nieces and nephews.
