Margie King Wall, age 91, entered her heavenly home peacefully on August 1, 2026, at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 8, 1935, Margie was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Irene King. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter B. Wall.

Margie dedicated many years of service to Jerold Corporation and Princeton Manufacturing, where she was known for her strong work ethic and quiet determination. Following her retirement, she found great purpose in volunteering with the Me Fine Foundation in memory of her beloved great-nephew, Folden Lee IV. She was also a faithful member of Hephzibah Baptist Church, where her steadfast faith guided her throughout her life.

The oldest of six children, Margie was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas King, Linda Mitchell, Ted King, and Bonnie Hooks. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Rose.

Margie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her son, Ken Wall; her grandchildren, Kenneth Wall (Nikki) and Deanna Pender (Jason Hope); her great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Pender, Alyssa Sullivan (Cody), Jaxson Hope, Trey Wall (Caitlin), Avery Wall and Sawyer Murray; and her great-great-grandchildren, Preston Pender and Ainsley Hamilton, children of Gabrielle Pender; Maggie Sullivan, daughter of Alyssa and Cody Sullivan; and Morgan Wall, son of Trey and Caitlin Wall. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Raised on a farm, Margie carried a strong work ethic throughout her life and believed that caring for the people she loved was simply what you did. She was fiercely devoted to her family, quietly stepping in whenever she was needed and always putting others before herself. While she filled many roles throughout her life, the one she cherished most was caring for those she loved. Whether you knew her as Grandma, Aunt Margie, or simply "Dargie," you knew you were deeply loved. She had a little feisty streak, appreciated having things in order, and took pride in her appearance, never missing her weekly appointment at the beauty shop. Her timeless style and dedication to caring for herself often had people commenting that she looked much younger than her years. Her greatest joys were found in her faith, her family, and the faithful companionship of her beloved dog, Tanner.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, generous heart, and steadfast love. She never sought recognition for the countless ways she cared for others, but her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the lives she touched through her kindness, and the example she set of a life lived with grace, humility, and love.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Cardinal Hospice Care for the exceptional care, kindness, and dignity shown to Margie during her time there.

A celebration of Margie’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Lori and Folden Lee, 610 Braswell Road, Smithfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Me Fine Foundation or Hephzibah Baptist Church.
