Smithfield – Margaret Lee Johnson Westbrook, age 81, went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, September 15, 2019 in SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born September 18, 1937 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Sim and Annie Rhodes Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Westbrook; and sister, Ada Bell Jernigan. Margaret was a member of North Smithfield Baptist Church in Smithfield.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Brock. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday just prior to the service.

Surviving are daughters, Susan Heath and husband Danny of Four Oaks, Gail Gardner and husband Craig of Clayton, Lynn Peacock and husband Mickey of Princeton, and Sharon Baker and husband Danny of Princeton; stepdaughters, Gail Campbell of Virginia Beach, VA and Glenda Westbrook of Newton Grove; brothers, John Johnson and wife Shirley of Smithfield and Thomas Johnson and wife Ann of Hope Mills; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
