Maggie Lee Lewis Moore, age 89, passed away peacefully July 5th surrounded by family. Born April 27th , 1934 in Wayne County she was the daughter of the late Leon and Nora Talton Lewis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Junius Moore; and four brothers and two sisters.

Maggie was a beloved member of the community who embraced life with the spirit of the adventure.
Her membership in numerous associations and foundations brought her an immense amount of joy, providing her with treasured friendships and unforgettable memories.

Her spirit of adventure led her and her late husband Junius to start a successful business in Smithfield, NC.

Those left to treasure her memory are her children, David Moore and wife Michelle Moore and June Massengill; sister, Margie Blizzard; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on July 9th, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Lee's Chapel Church Cemetery in Four Oaks with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Johnston Community College Foundation in memory of Maggie Moore.
