Smithfield – Louise Tyndall Moore, age 65, passed away Monday August 16, 2021 at her home in Smithfield. She was born in Johnston County on February 4, 1956 to the late Elwood Tyndall Jr. and Jessie Jones Tyndall. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by brother, Franklin Tyndall; sister, Linda Woods; nephew, Franklin Shallington.

A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Friday August 20, 2021 at 11 am. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Friday from 10 am to 11 am. Burial will follow the service at Hills of the Neuse Cemetery.

Mrs. Moore is survived by husband, Paul Eugene Moore of the home; son, Phillip Elwood Moore, of the home; sisters, Mary Shallington of Smithfield and Rose Blackwell of Micro; brothers, Donald Tyndall of Selma, Thomas Tyndall of Pine Level and Billy Tyndall of Benson; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Moore retired as a lieutenant from the Johnston County Jail. She loved reading, watching movies, playing spades and spending time with her family.
