Louie McCullen Creech, age 85, from Pine Level, passed away March 18, 2025, at Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehab. Born August 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ivey McCullen and Pencie Harper McCullen. In addition to her parents, Louie was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Creech; sister, Willa Jean Best; and special niece, Crystal DiCorte.

Louie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she brightened.

Visitation will take place Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Church of Faith in Selma. Funeral service will follow at 7:30pm with Pastor Johnny DiCorte officiating. The graveside committal will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00am at Selma Memorial Gardens. Family will be accepting visitors all other times at 1220 Thompson Woodard Road, Selma, NC 27576.

Louie is survived by her son, Wade Marshall Norris (Lori) of Smithfield; niece, Lisa Whaley; step-grandchildren, Ashley Woodard, Justin Woodard, and Alex Woodard; six step-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved doggie Rosie.
