Smithfield – Lois Elsie Bailey Moore, age 77, passed away, Sunday, December 1, 2024, surrounded by family. Born, June 28, 1947 in Wake County, she was a daughter of the late Graham and Elsie Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Moore, Sr.; brothers, Bobby Bailey, Douglas Bailey, and Leavoy Bailey; and sister, Pauline Massengill. Lois loved shopping and going to Wal-Mart. She enjoyed doing yard work and did so regularly. Lois loved taking care of everyone and cooking, especially for her sons.

A graveside service will be held, Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at Parrish Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Lois is survived by her sons, Dallas Moore, Jr. (Amy) of Smithfield and Joseph Moore of Selma; grandchildren, Eric Moore and Michael Moore; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean Bailey.
