Linda Godwin Boswell of Selma died April 28, 2024. She was born July 17, 1946, to the late Robert and Gertrude Godwin. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Wanda Smith, brothers-in-law, Jerry Jones, W. J. Boswell, Dwight Boswell, and Roy Boswell.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Ronnie Boswell; sister, Brenda Jones Anderson; her son and daughter-in-law, Cecil and Crystal Boswell; her daughter and son-in-law Jamie and John Owens; four grandchildren, Kaylyn Boswell and fiancée Chase Capps, Megan Boswell, Amanda Thompson and husband Wesley and Gage Bailey. Also, one special niece and husband, Jerri and Anthony Holloman.

Also left to miss Granny Linda are 4 great-grandchildren, Peyton and Ryker Thompson and Eden and Coraline Bailey and one special great niece Allie Holloman.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and all other times at the home of Ronnie and Linda.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the 3rd floor, progressive care and ICU staff at UNC Heath Smithfield and Dr Papineni.
