Clayton – Carla "Leigh" Prince Poole, age 46, died Friday, June 28, 2019 at her home. Born July 2, 1972 in Johnston County she was the daughter of Bill Prince of Myrtle Beach, SC and Laura Scheppf and husband Paul of Selma, NC. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everette and Lib Prince.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Jeff Poole of Micro; daughter, Hannah Shea Poole and significant other Jit of Raleigh; grandmother, Gladys Prince of Smithfield; and canine companion, Chloe.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Selma Baptist Church, 1500 N Webb St, Selma, NC 27576.
