Selma - Larry Elwood Parker Sr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, January 9th, 2021, at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC. Mr. Parker was born on August 2, 1942, in Johnston County to the late Jessie "Skinny" Elwood Parker and Minnie Holt Parker. He was preceded in death by his wife Jennifer "Jenny" Parker. Mr. Parker was a graduate of Pine Level High School - Class of 1960, with college accreditations from NC State University. He was a former Deacon at Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church and planning board member for The Town of Pine Level. Larry was a former General Contractor in Smithfield, NC and previously was the Vice-President of Peden General Contractors in Raleigh, NC. His hobbies included: cooking, fishing, helping others, but his favorite would be spending time with his grandchildren.

Due to the COVID conditions as they are today; a private graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11th, 2021, at Oliver Cemetery in Pine Level, NC. Reverend Roger Banks will officiate the service. The family sincerely appreciates all of your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Surviving are his sons, Larry E. Parker Jr. and Paul O. Parker and grandchildren, Sarah Grantham and Cameron Parker.
