With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, grandson, and little brother, Kaycen Dra-shon Hudson Corprew, who left this world far too soon on September 18, 2025, at just 14 days old.

Born on September 4, 2025, Kaycen was a beautiful blessing who filled our hearts with love and light in the short time he was here. Though his days on earth were few, the joy and hope he brought into our lives will never be forgotten. He was deeply cherished and will always be remembered.

Kaycen is survived by his loving mother, Ashley Gibbons, and father, Kwame Corprew; his paternal grandfather, Kermit Corprew; maternal grandparents, Phyllis Hudson and Greg Gibbons; his great aunt and uncle, Sheila and Rick Creech; his adoring siblings, Alexis Hudson, Kaleb "Bean" Corprew, Kobe Corprew, his favorite nurse, Lilly Snider, close family friend, "Nay Nay", and many other loving family members who held him close in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his paternal Nana, Genera Corprew and by his "Nonnie", Warren Hudson.

Though Kaycen's life was brief, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. We will carry his memory with us forever, and he will always be our little angel.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Selma Memorial Gardens with Pastor Andy Stovall Officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
