Selma – Judy Jernigan Pearce loving wife and mother, age 72, passed away at UNC Chapel Hill on June 26, 2019. Born August 5, 1946 in Johnston County to the late Alton and Ruby Noles Jernigan. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home Sunday June 30, 2019 at 3 PM with Rev. Steven Walker officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Pearce is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bernie Pearce of Selma; Sons, Kenneth Pearce and wife Courtney of Greensboro, Paul Pearce and wife Christie of Morrisville; Sisters, Hilda Whitley and husband Everette of Havelock, Elgie Griffin and husband Ralph of Smithfield.
