Judy Allen Martin (77) of Zebulon, passed away peacefully at her home on February 7th, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Clayton and lived her entire life in her beloved Johnston County. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Rosamond Allen, brother Billy (Bill Will), sister Phyllis and brother in law Carmel Wall. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Carlton Martin, and sons Jeff Boyette, Ryan Martin and daughter in law Rebekah, daughter Carla Martin, brother in law Dan Martin and sister in law Ann Allen. Her pride and joy were her precious grandsons Will and Caleb Martin and her world truly revolved around them. She adored her many nieces and nephews, including but not limited to Bobby Scott, wife Kathy, daughter Hope, and sons Mark and Zach, Brian Narron and wife Christy, and Meg Martin, who spent so much time with her in these final days.

A graveside service will be held in Corinth Holders Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM Friday February 9, 2024.

Judy's favorite place to be was at home with her family and her dogs, Tom and Jerry. She made sure to keep in touch with her cousin Mary Alice Brown of Maryland, her best friend of over 60 years Jean Garner, and so many other wonderful friends that she made over the years while working. Although the family is mourning her loss, they are rejoicing in her salvation and complete healing at this time.

Judy was the epitome of unconditional love and she lived a full and happy life while extending compassion, grace, and humor to all those she came in contact with. She will be remembered for her devotion to those she loved and her ability to leave one's life better simply by knowing her.
