Selma - Judy Ann Barham Garner, age 73, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at her home.  Born August 16, 1950 in Johnston County to the late Bob Ransom and Gladie Creech Barham, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Garner; grandson, Logan Garner and sisters, Carol Fry and Marie Duncan.  She was a teacher with Johnston and Lee Counties Head Start for many years and enjoyed quilting with the ladies at JoCo Quilting and at Harrison School in Selma a couple of days a week.

A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Roger Hill at 2pm on Sunday, September 17 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Larry Ralph Garner; son, Allen Garner and his wife Kristin of Cary and four grandchildren, Nate Garner, Riley Garner, Lauren Garner and Lorenzo Garner.
