Selma – Joyce Ann Oliver Temple, age 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 3, 2023, in the SECU Hospice House of Smithfield. Born, August 21, 1937, in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late William and Louise Oliver, she had two sisters as well as a brother. Joyce attended church at the Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church when she was able. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Oliver Family Cemetery in Selma, where she will be laid to rest. Rev. Roger Banks will officiate the service.
