Princeton – Jose Luis Sanchez, age 67, went to his eternal home on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in UNC Johnston Health of Smithfield. Born, June 27, 1955, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, he was a son of Daniel Sanchez and Paula Sanchez. He is preceded in death by his father Daniel Sanchez. Jose was a parishioner at St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton. He was a hard-working man and a very strong person. Jose enjoyed being outdoors and enjoyed watching baseball, he was an avid Red Sox fan. Jose was a very loving husband, father, son and brother. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. All of his family and friends will greatly miss him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton. Visitation and Rosary service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

He is survived by his wife, Marizela Sanchez of Princeton, mother, Paula Sanchez of Terrell, TX, son, Jose David Sanchez and daughter, Adela Sanchez of Princeton; brothers, Daniel Sanchez of Angier, Ramon Sanchez of Angier, Juan Sanchez of Terrell, TX; sisters, Teresa Sanchez of Winston Salem, Amparo Sanchez, Yolanda Sanchez, Irma Sanchez, of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Adela Sanchez, Maria Sanchez and Celia Sanchez of Terrell, TX.
