Four Oaks – Jonah Keith Johnson, age 68, passed away May 14, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jonah was born on May 22, 1955, in Harnett County, to the late Mary Hargis Jackson and Jonah Johnson. Jonah was preceded in death by his brothers: Joel D. Johnson, Curtis Johnson, Carl Johnson, and Lyndon G. Johnson. He was a retired Master Blacksmith of the CSX Railroad Company of which he worked over 30 years. Jonah had a love of hunting and the outdoors, always looking to keep himself busy either in the woods or out at his workshop.

Surviving him are his loving wife, Shelia Gail Johnson; his children: Michael Ray West, Joshua Keith Johnson, Jera Christina Rigsbee, and Raney Keith Johnson; sisters: Mabel Massengill, Jackie Benson, Teresa Adams (Greg) and Brenda Atkins; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
