Johnnie Elijah Creech, age 70, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at his home in Selma. He was born in Norfolk, VA on February 3, 1954, to the late William Narvin Creech and Hilda G. Pace. In addition to his father and mother, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Cordova.

The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Mr. Creech is survived by his sister, Pam Gaddis of Franklin, TN; nieces, Rebecca Gillespie, Dawn Ogan; nephews, Shane Gaddis (Allyson), William Swann (Rachel); great nieces, Brittany Nichols (Phill), McKenna Swann, Briana Ogan; great nephew, Ryder Ogan; great great nephew, Westen Nichols; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Mr. Creech retired from the county after many years of service. In his younger years, he enjoyed swimming, coaching softball, and cooking out. He was a veteran of the United States Army and loved his family.
