Smithfield – John Anthony "Andy" Wadsworth, 67, died Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at his home. Born September 12, 1952 in Johnston County he was a son of Velma McLamb Wadsworth and the late John Wadsworth. Andy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired with the Air Force after 22 years of dedication and service. He was a member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Smithfield.

A private graveside will be conducted Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his sister, Sharon Wadsworth of the home.
