Kenly---Joanne Norris Mitchell, 80, died suddenly January 23, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.  She was the daughter of the late Earl and Clara House Norris. Joanne was a spinner in the textile industry. She loved country living and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son, Cecil Edward Mitchell, Jr. and his wife Rhonda; brothers and sisters, Larry Norris, Gary Norris, Freddy Norris, Gloria Norris, and Violet Rose; grandchildren, Christina Lupyak, Brittiney Dale, Brandon Mitchell, Jeremy Mitchell, Chris Mitchell, and Dana Langston.

As per her request there will be no formal services.
