Jimmy Roland Holloman, 79, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Born on August 18, 1946, in Johnston County, North Carolina, Jimmy was the son of the late James Henry Holloman and Cassie Evans Holloman. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse Harold Holloman, Herman Holloman, Thelbert Holloman, Eddie Holloman, Frank Holloman, and Cecil Holloman, and by his sister, Hazel Catherine Woodard.

Jimmy will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his quiet strength, the many memories he created, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Jill Holloman; his son, Jason Holloman; his grandson, Shawn Holloman; his granddaughter, Lexus Thompson and her husband, Jeff Thompson; and his great-grandson, Layne Peitticoffer.

A memorial service to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend as they gather to honor and celebrate his life and cherish his memory.
