Selma – Jewel Pulley Faison, age 72, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born, July 14, 1952 in Johnston County, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Inez Crumpler Pulley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norwood Wayne Faison; brothers, Billy Pulley and Jimmy Pulley; and sister, Glenda Pulley Heath. Jewel enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith Show and Heartland. She loved to read Dr. David Jeremiah books. She attended River Oak Church of God.

Jewel is survived by her son, Mark Faison.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2:00pm, at River Oak Church of God. Pastors officiating will be Michelle Allen and Brian Faison. A burial service will be held at Selma Memorial Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
