Jennifer Lynn Edwards, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2026, at her home. Born on May 9, 1966, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late William and Faye Edwards.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Cody, who was truly like a son to her. She had a deep love for music, especially R&B, and found great joy in dancing. Jennifer cherished her nephews more than anything in the world and was known as a loyal and devoted friend with a wide circle of loved ones. A true Daddy’s girl, she found great comfort in being reunited with her father.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Divine Crossings Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends and share refreshments following the service.

Jennifer is survived by her brother, Vern Edwards, and wife Patty, and her nephews, Brody and Chase Edwards.
