Selma- Jay Harold Price, age 74, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in the SECU Hospice House of Smithfield. Born, July 29, 1948, in Durham County, he was a son of the late Jessie and Louise Price. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Price and his brother, Brye Larken Price. Jay proudly served his country in the United States Navy for eight years during the Vietnam War. After returning from service Jay loved to travel and lived many different places in the US. He was a loving husband, brother and uncle. He will be missed by all his family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield.

He is survived by two sisters, Harriet Murphy of Henderson and Sarah Elkins of SC, sister in law, Frances Price of Selma, niece, Cynthia Price Lane of Kenly and many other nieces and nephews.
