Smithfield – Jason Wes Stephenson, age 47, passed away Monday May 3, 2021 at his home in Selma. He was born in Johnston County on September 22, 1973 to David L. Stephenson and Janis Wood Stephenson. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother; son, Cole Stephenson of Holly Springs; daughter, Parker Paige of Holly Springs; brother, Wayne Stephenson and wife Cindy of Smithfield; sister, Janet Rouland of Clayton; step father, Don Creech; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stephenson was an avid NC State fan who enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Funeral services will be planned for a later date.
