Jason Lee Hinnant, age 44 died Friday, May 26, 2023, at his home.  He was born on March 18, 1979, in Randolph County.  He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Hinnant.  Jason was a member of the Micro Free Will Baptist Church and was a carpenter by trade.  Most recently he was using his woodworking skills to craft bowls out of woods like cherry and cedar.  He also had a great love of music and spent much time playing his guitars.

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Mr. Steven Lee officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hinnant Family Cemetery near Selma.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. just prior to the service.

Surviving are his mother, Cathy Walters and husband Doug of Selma; brother, Derek Hinnant of Selma; sister, Caroline Hinnant Williams and husband Scott and their sons, Trent and Jacob of Richmond, VA and extended family, Chester and Sandy Wood, Adam Wood, Lauren Walls and Alie Walls all of Randleman.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Richard and Carolyn Outreach Center (HOC), 102 East Main Street, Micro, NC  27555.
